Dress For the Weather Activity for Children
This activity involves taking little cards that have different kinds of clothing pictured and putting them on the correct sheet with a picture of a clothesline in different kinds of weather.
The children need to, "Hang-up," the correct clothing for the kind of weather on the clothesline. One kind of weather is sunny and the other is rainy. There are eight different kinds of clothes total, with four fitting each type of weather. This activity can easily be laminated as well so that it can be done multiple times with your children!
How To Play the Dress for Weather Activity
Lay-out the two sheets of weather (sunny and rainy). Then give your child the 8 cards with the different clothing options.Ask your child to put the clothing that we wear when it is sunny on the clothesline in that picture, and the clothes we wear when it is rainy on the clothesline in that picture.Assist your child as they put the clothing in the pictures (correct them if they do anything wrong).One everything is, "Hung-up," where it belongs the activity is done!
