Spelling Letters With String Activity
At Little Smiles Preschool Inc. they got to play with different colors and lengths of strings so that they could spell different letters! It was a fun activity for developing fine motor skills and working on letter recognition.
Spelling with string
The kids loved making letters out of string and saying what the letters could represent, such as how, "A is for apple." The different lengths of strings allowed them to experiment with how they made letters look and the different colors made fun patterns possible as well. A geat activity!
Feeling the fabric
The children enjoyed touching the fabric of the strings as they sorted and laid them upon one another. It was just a great deal of fun!
