A word family is a group of words that may share a common root word with different prefixes and suffixes in morphology. They're used for teaching spelling.

This -in word family craft is a fun and easy way for students to review short i words that belong to the -in word family.

First, Students will color and cut out their word family craft pieces.

Second, they will glue the craft footer and bowling ball to the bottom of their construction paper.

Afterwards, students will start gluing their bowling pins from the top to bottom of their construction paper.

This is a great and fun way to practice, recognize and read word families.
