Arctic crafts and how the polar bears live in the cold
We did the northern lights craft and this is how it came out. We talked about the Arctic and Antarctic for about 3 weeks.
The kids enjoy learning about all the animals and how people live in such a cold place. I work with kids ages 4 and 5 and they are always eager to learn about new things like this. You don’t need to do nursery Rhymes all the time and incorporate other fun things like this for example. I found some from information from the library and online as well as Pinterest. This one project we did was found on Pinterest and it was fun and very easy to do.
The next few weeks we will be talking about the Inuit people and do some penguin crafts as well as doing as some experiments to teach them about blubber on some animals. We will also talk about the Antarctic and why people don’t really live in such a cold place. I will be posting more about our topic and show more of our crafts soon.
