Galaxy Sensory Bin for the Classroom

At Small World Learning Center, they had fun doing space-themed activities which included a fun and exciting galaxy sensory bin. It was out of this World and the kids loved exploring it and playing within it!

Sensory fun in an intergalactic manner

The galaxy sensory bin had black rocks (space rocks) as well as little planets, fun stars, cups for dumping and filling, rulers for measuring, and was a great time for all the kids who had the chance to play within it! The class talked about math and measuring which made the rulers handy for studying how big the little planets and stars were. It added a fun STEM element to the sensory bin which the students enjoyed exploring. It was some out-of-this-world fun!
