Hispanic Heritage Month: Alvidres Twilight Cactus
Aividres Twilight Cactus gave my students a chance to use colors to recreate their own Twilight image.
The pictures when place on a window where lots of sun shone through looked amazing!
As there was no pattern available to duplicate, I simply downloaded a picture of a cactus and added my own lines.
Prior to working on the pictures, we watched a short video of other works this artist had done around the Texas area.
The children used metallic tempera paint sticks and the results were absolutely amazing!
It was such a joy to listen to the children talk about the colors as they worked on their "masterpieces"!
I would like to receive printable forms on "bats".
