Mess-Free Color Mixing Activity

At Endmoor Preschool, they did a mess-free color mixing activity with food dye and clear wax sheets put together to keep anything from spilling-out and getting messy!

Materials needed for this craft

To do this mess-free color mixing activity you will need the following:

*Two wax sheets

*Food dye

*Tape

*Brown construction paper

*Scissors

*Glue

How to do this craft

To do this mess-free color mixing activity you need to follow these steps:

1. Take your brown construction paper and cut out a tree shape.

2. Glue the tree shape to one of your wax sheets.

3. Wait a minute for the glue to dry.

4.Take the wax sheet with the tree glued on and squirt food dye on it.

5. Place the other wax sheet on top and tape it on.

6. Squish your hands on the top wax sheet and spread the food dye around--it looks like colorful leaves on your tree!

7. Once you are done squishing the dye around let it set and then show off your creation!
