Playing With Real and Pretend Leaves!
At Kidzone #3, they had a fantastic time playing outside in real leaves and doing an exciting craft with pretend leaves as well! The children learned about how leaves Fall in the autumn season and proceeded to enjoy them.
Outside fun in the leaves
The kids had a ball stomping in the leaves, gathering them up throwing them about, and laying in them. It was a lovely time!
Pretend leaf assembly
Through using contact paper, the children were able to fill-in a leaf with empty spots and add parts to it so that it was a complete and colorful Fall leaf! The bits of crepe paper were attached to the contact paper, making this is a fantastic fine motor skill craft for the little ones to do. Whether working with real leaves or ones made out of craft paper, it was delightful fun!
