Reading About and Creating Construction Paper Snowmen

January is a very cold month often full of snow. With this in mind, at the Manchester Child Development Center, they read a fun book involving snow and then did a creative craft that tied-in with it! Everyone read, "The Missing Mitten Mystery," which features a snowman. Then, the students used different colored pieces of construction paper to create their own snowman who looked like the one in the storybook (or however they wanted if they preferred to be creative).

A Snowman Made of Paper
Creating a snowman out of construction paper was fun and a lot less mess than one made out of actual snow! All that was needed was an assortment of construction paper, scissors, and some glue. Then, the kids assembled their beautiful snowmen!
