Space Week Activities
At Small Talents Academy, they had a week themed for space! They learned all about spaceships, planets, and did a variety of fun activities and crafts themed for the cosmos.
Moon Painting
The children loved designing the Moon out of clay and then painting it with gray paint.
Rocket mural
The kids made rockets out of construction paper that then were used to create a mural of spaceships flying through the blackness of outer space!
Rocket experiment
The kids watched a rocket made out of a 2-liter soda bottle take-off into the sky via a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. It was an explosively fun experiment.
Space robots
Everyone created their own robots that resembled the kind in old movies about outer space!
Constellation craft
Students put stars together on a big sheet of construction paper to create well-known constellations. All the activities and crafts were so fun to do!
