Spring Bee Craft
An easy spring craft to do with little preschoolers.
Step 1: Draw and colour in your bee.
Step 2: Cut out your bee.
Step 3: Paint the sky and grass.
Step 4: Draw in sun and flower.
Step 5: Tear strips of paper and glue them down to decorate the flower and the sun.
Step 6: Paste the bee on.
Lots of fun and involving so many different skills from drawing, painting, colouring in the lines, cutting on the lines, tearing paper (hand strengthening) and gluing and pasting. A simple, but effective craft to celebrate spring and a study on bees. You can spend a lot of time discussing spring and bees in detail while doing these crafts. Fun facts to include are things like "how do bees make honey?", "where do bees collect pollen?", "What are the signs that it is spring?". You can also go on a scavenger hunt in the garden to look at and pick different flowers and hunt for bees.
