Emotions UNO for Kindergarten to 12th grade
Kids play UNO and share thoughts according to the feeling/ color they play.
When a player lays a yellow card, the player shares a time they felt happy or something that makes them happy. When a player lays a blue card, the player shares a time they felt sad or something that makes them sad. When a player lays a red card, the player shares a time they felt mad or something that makes them mad. The kiddos love playing games and UNO is a simple game for the younger kids. I was a lot of fun and went well. I participate as well in order to model healthy feelings identification and expression. I love using UNO to help me get to know clients and to help them get to know me! It is a great way to build rapport! I typically give two rules and then let the client create two rules.
