At Family Preschool in Durham, they spent these Summer days doing a, "Nature quest!" this quest involved doing an assortment of fun activities.
Bug exploration
The kids examined real-life bugs they carefully handled.
Campground kitchen dramatic play
The kids pretended to cook food in a campground kitchen outdoors! It was some fun dramatic play.
Animal pond
Children pretended the animals were frolicking in the pond!
Digging for fossils
The kiddos pretended to be looking for fossils when they dug up some that the teachers had buried.
Winter animals sensory bin
There was a sensory bin full of fake snow and lots of winter-type animals to play with.
Fishing set
Everyone played with a fishing set and it was a great time too. The nature quest was lovely fun!
