Felt Gingerbread Men Craft
At First United Methodist Preschool, they did a fun craft where they made gingerbread men out of felt! They weren't created out of actual gingerbread cookies, but looked as gorgeous as if they were! By taking different colored pieces of felt along with some googly eyes and glue the children were able to craft some fun gingerbread fellows!
Materials needed for this craft
To make your own felt gingerbread men you will need the following:
*Brown felt
*Felt of assorted colors
*Ribbons
*Googly eyes
*Scissors that can cut felt (craft scissors work best)
*Glue
How to make your felt gingerbread men
Follow these steps to do the craft:
1. Take your brown felt and cut it into the shape of a gingerbread man.
2. Take your other pieces of felt and cut them into shapes of clothing--also cut one little piece that can be a mouth for your gingerbread man.
3. Glue your felt pieces onto your gingerbread man and add ribbon as a fun extra piece of decoration.
4. Glue on your gingerbread man's googly eyes.
5. Wait for the glue to dry and show everyone your felt gingerbread man!
