Thank you Teachers Mag for letting those of us that are new to teaching gain some extra support! I have been working on an activity book and finding sites that allow things to be printed off are so helpful! I am finding my passion is in working with the geriatric population but I am open to pre-school age children as well. I am considering homeschooling my grandson so I have begun collecting a few educational toys and things that have a lesson behind them rather than just all fun and games. Sites like these make it easy to scroll through and find just the perfect material to help out and make the day go a little easier. So far I can see where my grandson has learned alot under my direction of colors, talking and playing with others. He is very smart and gets bored easily. So I am trying to work with him and get him to understand that learning is a process, one that last all your life.
