Pre K Thanksgiving play
Our Preschool class spends weeks learning about the 1st Thanksgiving. We read stories, do crafts related, make our own costumes, and learn songs. We invite families to come to our Thanksgiving play! We read the story of the first Thanksgiving to the families. They sing 4 songs, and go through a line they learned & say what they are thankful for. We have Thanksgiving related snacks for the kids and families. We also sit out some of the stuff the children have learned and completed up to this time of the year so the parents can see what the children have accomplished. The kids put in so much effort and heart into this and it is so much fun to watch them come together.
