Project - We all fit together
The beginning of the school year is all about learning about each other. So, this year I challenged my students to decorate our classroom with a puzzle "We all fit together". Besides helping to know my students' likes and preferences, this project also conveys a great message: focus on building our classroom community to support and encourage one another.
Each student has a puzzle piece that he/she decorates and fills in the information:
Common information:
- Name
- Age
- I live with.
Then, each student mentiones 3 favourite things (it can be colour, food, hobby, season, pet,.)
Each students introduces himself/herself to the class and then we put the puzzle together.
As as follow-up activity we discussed the importance of each member of the class and without each and every piece, it wouldn't be complete. Each and every person in the class is important and necessary!
