Taking Care of my Teeth- Activity for 5 year old
We started the activity by getting the children to observe each other's teeth with a magnifying glass. We then talked about how their teeth look liked. Afterwards, I showed a teeth model to the children and we discussed how we should keep our teeth healthy.
The discussion was followed with a sorting activity about the food that are good and not good for our teeth. Each child was given an image to paste into the sad and happy teeth.
We ended the discussion by making a simple poster about oral hygiene. We also danced along the song "Brush Your Teeth" by Pinkfong which is available in youtube.
