Make patterns using cereal, cranberries, marshmallows, and pretzels. * a good rule of thumb is to stay away from ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.

Students have a chance to come up with their own "recipes" of patterns.
Cereal, marshmallow, cereal, marshmallow. AB Pattern.
Pretzel, marshmallow, cranberry, pretzel, marshmallow, cranberry. ABC
Any combination works. This activity gives your students a chance to explore the world of sequences and get creative. You can also pair up your students so that they can challenge eachother with different pattern combinations.
After the activity, your students can enjoy a fun snack.
