Easy crafts for early Ed
Two easy crafts for early Ed.
Dinosaur with construction paper tubes.
Roll tubes and staple individually. Then Attach the 4 tubes ro each other. then Attach head piece and tail to front and back.
We used this for talking about the color green. For counting to four. For some students this works well for fine motor as well. Our room is self contained with a variety of skill levels. So this activity is great for differentiation.
Mr Teeth puppet with plastic bowls.
Staple bowls to connect in back Then attach teeth (tape worked well) Decorate with eyes and hair. This was for dental health week. Buy i will be using it for a CVC/ rhyming activity also. The children will feed the rhyming word to the puppet. We also used it to practice brushing teeth. We made a large toothbrush and practiced scrubbing the teeth during circle time. Some chose to draw eyes and some glued googly eyes on.
Both work best with staples
