Learning About the Letter P and Making Handprint Penguins!

At Simmons Ridge Children's Academy, they learned all about the letter P! After practicing tracing the letter P, students made handprint penguins, as penguin starts with P!

Tracing the letter P

Students sat down at their desks and then used a dry erase board with some markers to practice drawing the letter P. They did a great job making the little circle and straight line that forms it in both uppercase and lowercase!

Handprint penguins

The kiddos made penguins that were the same size and shape as their handprints as well! The kiddos used scissors and glue along with black, white, and orange construction paper and some googly eyes. It was great!
