Looking For Home activities around themes
Hello,
I am a teacher that works with 24 3-4 year olds. I work on developmental skills with the children but I want to extend the learning at home looking for ideas. I have been a preschool teacher for 30 years. I like to grow and change as our world and generations change. I love giving children different activities to help them with their skills and also allow the parent to engage in their child's education. We are not daycare workers we are teachers! Sending home activities has really help my students this year with their math, writing, letter recognition, phonological awareness skills and science. The parents can see the progression of their child's learning. Children learn in many different ways through seeing, hearing and speaking. I think providing different activities allowing the children to learn different ways from easiest to more difficult. I like to teach in small groups, individually and large groups
