Making a Slime Center
Making and playing with slime has become quite a popular activity these past few years. Kids love the unique and weird feeling of slime as it stretches and squishes. At Loving and Learning Educational Center they had a lovely time making a center for slime and having all the children play at it when it was their turn!
Making a slime center
To make your own slime center you will just need to have a tray to hold your slime and some slime that you either made or bought from the store.
Things to discuss when playing with slime
When the children are playing with the slime there are a number of things you can discuss to stimulate their thought process:
*"Would you describe the slime as wet? If not wet, then what?"
*"How sticky do you think the slime is? Would more slime be even stickier or less?"
*"How far can you stretch the slime before it breaks apart?"
*"Why do you think the slime makes funny sounds?"
