Paleontology Activities for Kids

At Discovery Isle, they had a lot of fun doing paleontology activities as a class! Everyone read several books about dinosaurs and then did a variety of fun activities!


The class explored dinosaur bones by using cubes to measure dinosaurs, they made shapes using dinosaur bones, and everyone worked on an excavation site to create their own dinosaur skeletons with Q-tips. The class closed-out the week by writing about what they thought would happen if dinosaurs came back from extinction. Here are more pictures of everyone working:
