ZOOM Simon Says

One fun way to have fun with your students while doing a Zoom chat is to play a game of Simon Says!

All you need is at least 3 players (or more). One person assumes the role of, "Simon," and gives instructions on actions to do, being sure to say, "Simons says," before each action. If they only say to do the action, anyone who does the action is, "Out." When one other player remains they become Simon and the game begins anew!

Simon Says Suggestions

Below are some suggested actions you can request for your own game of, "Simon Says." Feel free to make up your own actions too!

  1. Sit down
  2. Turn around in a circle
  3. Jump up and down
  4. Clap your hands
  5. Wiggle your fingers
  6. Touch your nose
  7. Pucker your lips
  8. Flap your arms
  9. Do jumping jacks
  10. Make a smile
  11. Make a frown
  12. Hop to the left
  13. Hop to the right

“Simon Says is a children's game for three or more players. One player takes the role of "Simon" and issues instructions (usually physical actions such as "jump in the air" or "stick out your tongue") to the other players, which should be followed only when prefaced with the phrase "Simon says".
