Creating Feeling Monsters

They created monsters that were representative of feelings at The Children's College Inc. The children discussed feelings such as happy, sad, angry, and so forth. After talking about feelings the class was excited to make feelings monsters as a way to try and create a visual representation of feelings. The children used paint and other objects to make their monsters!

Materials needed for this craft

To make your own feeling monsters you can use any of the following:

*Construction paper/canvas

*Paint--acrylic or tempera works well

*Buttons

*Googly eyes

*Pipe cleaners

*Colorful cotton balls

*Crepe paper

*Anything else you want

How to make your feeling monster

To create this craft follow these steps:

1. Lay down your canvas/construction paper.

2. Put as much paint as you desire down to represent your feeling monster.

3. Wait for the paint to dry.

4. Add multimedia objects to your feeling monster, glue them on.

5. Wait for the glue to dry.

6. Show everyone your feeling monster!
