At Platt Elementary, they had a glow math party! By getting a bunch of blacklights as well as paper, tape, and glow-sticks that would react to them, the class was able to make a bunch of things glow with cool neon colors in the darkened classroom! The kids had so much fun doing activities in the glowing light!
Tic Tac Toe
The children played glow-in-the-dark Tic Tac Toe and loved how the pieces shined brightly in the dark.
Neon equations
The kiddos used highlighters to solve math equations. The ink from the highlighters looked amazingly bright thanks to the blacklight and really glowed!
Glowing bricks
Everyone had a blast stacking blowing bricks to try and build a stable structure. Sometimes they all came tumbling down, however! The glow math party was so fun!
