Learning About the Five Senses With Centers

At Alma Flor Ada Spanish Immersion Early Learning Academy, they learned about the five senses! The class discussed seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, and tasting. Then, the students went to different centers to experiment with some of the talked about five senses.

Crinkle paper

The students enjoyed playing with crinkly paper at one center. They heard how loudly it crinkled and felt how bumpy it was!

Slimy shaving cream

Everyone loved touching the slimy shaving cream. They saw how it spread out and felt it squish in their hands!

Rocks at centers

There was a container full of rocks at one center. Everyone was eager to feel how smooth the rocks were and listen to the sounds they made when everything was shaken up within the container!
