Raising Money for Animal Shelters and Having a Stuffed Animal Day
At Countryside Day School, they had the students bring their favorite stuffed animals to school. This tied in with the program they were doing to raise money for Heartland Animal Shelter! The kiddos enjoyed discussing how much they loved both stuffed animals as well as real ones that needed help.
Showing how they care
The students and their families were eager to show how much they care about animals in need. Everyone worked together to raise funds for the shelter and donated items for the animals too! You can easily do a program like this at your school by working with an animal shelter in your region to raise funds for them and request donations of items they say they need.
